Sitwise

Practice built to the exam your child is actually sitting

The 11+ is not one test. Kent, Buckinghamshire, Trafford, Dorset and Gloucestershire each set their own paper, in their own subjects, and the provider can change from one year to the next. Sitwise builds a pack for each one, with an explanation on every single answer.

How it works

Three steps, and the second one is the point.

1

Sit a paper

Timed like the real thing, or a few questions at a time. Free papers need no account.

2

Read why

Every answer carries an explanation that gives the method for those numbers and names the trap the question was built around. Being told 4.75 was wrong teaches nothing.

3

See what to work on

The Progress screen shows accuracy by subject and topic, the weakest spots, and a countdown to the exam date you set.

Bought on a phone, used on a computer

Children revise at a desk. A pack is unlocked by your account rather than by the device it was bought on, so buy it on your phone and sign in at app.sitwise.uk on any computer with the same email address. Nothing to install and nothing to buy twice.

Questions parents ask

Is this the real exam paper?

No, and nobody sells those. The test providers do not license past papers, so every question here is written for Sitwise. Each pack says on its own page exactly which published format it was built to, and where that came from.

Can my child practise on a computer?

Yes. A pack is unlocked by your account, not by the device you bought it on. Buy on the phone, then sign in at app.sitwise.uk on any computer with the same email address.

Do I pay once or every month?

Once. Every pack is a one-off purchase and there is no subscription.

Is there a free sample?

Yes, and no account is needed for it. Most packs give you several whole papers, one of each kind; the SATs pack gives a short taster of everything. Each pack says exactly what is free on the buy page.

Does my child need an account?

The account belongs to you, the parent, and is just an email address with a six-digit code. There is no password, and we ask for nothing about your child.

Is there an app to download?

There is nothing to install. Sitwise runs at app.sitwise.uk in the browser and can be added to the home screen in two taps, where it opens full screen like any other app and works offline. A Play Store version is coming; it will be the same packs on the same account.

How do I delete everything?

From the Account screen in the app, or by emailing us. It removes the account, the practice history and any pack bought on it, and it cannot be undone.
